Truckdriver explores the skill set required in a truck driver's job. This booklet looks at what a truck driver does and how to become one. It also explains the maths, literacy, technology and physics links such as weight distribution, traction, and the laws of motion.
Truck Driver is part of a series of books aimed at reluctant teenage readers and students who have learning difficulties. Since these students generally have good practical skills, a different practical Kiwi career features in each book. The books have also been designed to show the links between everyday life and the content taught at school.
