Fold-A-Book allows young students to create and partially illustrate their own phoneme-grapheme mini-books to aid in their spelling and vocabulary learning. Each photocopiable page can be folded into a small booklet. The booklets are planned for use with children who are at the stage of making a connection with the letters of the alphabet and words familiar to them. Words are carefully chosen - familiar animals and objects, body parts, numbers, and some uniquely New Zealand. Fold-A-Book is ideal as extra support to supplement your phonics teaching programme.
