This two-book series supports students to develop skills in art, create art works to express themselves, talk about their art and the art of others, and discuss the role of art works in society. Each art focus section is structured as follows: teacher introduction; materials required and information about each; classroom management; points to highlight; learning outcomes; and, practical session outlines. Book A topics include drawing, print making and painting. Book B topics include construction, fabric and fibres, modelling and sculpting. The books support planning and implementing art sessions at all primary levels, and will help students to build confidence in working across a wide range of art mediums.
