This two-book photocopiable resource series focuses on helping students to develop and improve their social skills, such as turn-taking, playing fair, being a good winner and loser etc. through a safe, structured and fun learning context. This context is provided by using classroom games that focus on developing and reinforcing a broad range of basic literacy and numeracy concepts. Some games are very simple, others are more advanced. All have been extensively trialled in the classroom. Each book contains 20 games. Each game consists of a How To Play page, and a Player Page, for copying or display. Many player pages also have templates so that games can be adapted. Very few additional resources are necessary, just dice and counters.
